Between Kristiansand and Lillesand, the small coastal islands, called "skerries", are peppered with summer cottages and 18th century fishing villages. I took a ride on a small boat amongst the islands. The sun sparkling on blue waters, wind in my hair, rockbound isles ... I was put in mind of the Maine coast, save there were no lobster traps.
